THE TEN MILE RACE
Six cold looking, blue nosed bicyclists
started on the weary ten mile pilgrimage on
the McGill College grounds on Saturday.

than as many more were frightened out of the
race by the wretched weather, and some of
the half frozen must have wished themselves
out of it early in the contest. Prof. McLeod
president of the M.B.C. was referee and
starter, while Norman Fletcher and R. ?.
Smith kept time. J. Davis was the starter.
The race was finished as follows:

The race was a procession from start to
finish and was very dull. The winners
thoroughly deserved their prizes for less
encouraging circumstances never were
It is more than probable that the Canadian
Wheelmen's association will take hold of
their own newspaper, the Wheelman, and support
it. The news will be most welcome. The
breezy little sheet is brimful of interest to
Canadian wheelmen whose interests it supports
ably. As a well written paper it is
second to none, and the brethren of the wheel
will do well to look after it carefully.
